This year has not started exactly on the best foot. According to CNN, over 2 million people lost their jobs in 2008, and 200,000 jobs were have decreased during the first month of 2009. If one of the people who were fired, it is likely that there seems no hope. Fortunately, companies are hiring, just to know what jobs are in demand.

Laurence Shatkin, an expert on career information, published a book called "150 Best Work trials recession "that lists the most runs in demand during times of economic difficulties. The top 10 races in his list are:

  1. Computer Systems Analysts
  2. Network systems and data communications analysts
  3. Network and Computer Systems Administrators
  4. Registered Nurses
  5. Teachers
  6. Physical Therapists
  7. Physicians and Surgeons
  8. Dental Hygienists
  9. Pharmacists
  10. Doctors and administrators of the Health Services

Although most of these occupations require expertise in science and mathematics, and a degree, sometimes the experience can be as or more valuable.

The three main races require experience working with technology computer, instead of a degree. Any person who possesses the relevant expertise and experience has been unable to find employment in these fields, regardless of level of education they have received. Occasionally, some courses of computer science or related subjects can help in combination with work experience.

Nurses, physiotherapists, dental hygienists and medical services in general, managers need at least an associate's degree. However, the experience of working in a medical can get your foot in the door, and sometimes employers will reimburse you for the achievement of formal training. Most associate degree programs take about 2 years to complete, and in that time you could be receiving formal training on the job that will make you more marketable in the future.

Teachers usually need a bachelor's degree at least, but anyone who has a degree or experience in a specific field, like art, history, or even companies can find a teaching job. The teachers are always in demand, especially with the growing number of older teachers retire. To get more attractive to employers, you need to gain work experience in a classroom. Volunteer to become a guardian or apply for a position as assistant professor and show that can be a good teacher.

In order to get a job as a pharmacist or doctor, you should have a doctorate. However, there are ways to get your foot in the door. Most pharmacies employ pharmacy technicians to help pharmacists fill prescriptions. Some pharmacies do not require title or formal training for this position, but is provided on the job training. In fact, no state or federal requirements for training or certification pharmacy technicians. Once training is complete, you can take the voluntary certification exam certification. Some programs also allow pharmacy pharmacy technicians to enter their programs instead of a college degree.

So do not be discouraged. Even if you do not have a college degree can still get a high paying job that will provide stability in this unstable economy.
