Personal Career Plan

"If you fail to plan, you plan to fail"
You've heard this before.
This saying is particularly true when it comes to career and professional development.
Unfortunately most people just "go with the flow" with their jobs. They have no goals, purpose and address.
One day they find themselves trapped in an emotionally draining and unsatisfying work. This is the harsh reality for many professionals.
The good news is that "You can control your career."
With advances in the information age, globalization and current economic development, there are more opportunities than ever to get the career you're passionate about.
Think of career planning as you would if you're planning a trip.
First you must decide where to take off, where you want on earth. Then you would draw up the schedule, timing and stopovers.
If you do not like travel planning, "Relax" you can hire a travel agent. If you do not like career planning can hire a professional coach to guide you through it (I recommend trying on your own first, because it makes your workout much more effective career and beneficial).
You can develop your career plan in three easy steps, I use the acronym KDOTm (pronounced Kido) to remember
Step -1 – (K) Know where you are now.
Step -2 – (D) Decide where you want to go.
Step -3 – (O) Organize a plan to get there
K – Know where you are now.
The ancients knew better when he said "I know." You can know yourself looking at your surroundings and know where you are now. Take a real look at his career now, what you like him? What would you like?
Make sure you take what you like now when you go where you want to go!
D – Decide where to go.
Based on information gathered from where you are, decide their fate now. Write it down and get excited about the possibility (all that is possible).
O – Organize a plan to get there.
The winners have plans. Planning through their desired destination retreats all the way back to its present location and position. Step by step work your way backwards until you have a more complete way.
