What kinds of jobs are available without citizenship in the US?

My husband has been looking for a good paying job for over a week now. Most of them require US citizenship. The best ones seem to be with delivery services, like UPS, DHL, USPS, etc. But what are his other options?

He has work permit, drivers license, speaks several languages fluently. Most places that hire linguists require education in language or translation.

What to do? (He needs a job quick)

And he is a “legal alien”. He has a greencard and SS#.

Try temp agencies. You may have to try several. You say he speaks several languages — he will need certification to prove it for the non-Native languages (for instance, if he’s a non-Native Spanish speaker, he will need the DELE).
