Like many college students, I chose a major that I considered to be marketable and viable for my adult life. I chose business because that was where I thought I could make the most money in the long run. I did not, however, take into account overall happiness and fulfillment of my future career.

As I quickly found out, my business job was all about money and did not take people and their personal stories into account. I found myself very unsatisfied with my line of work so i decided to start over again.

I went back to school to be a registered nurse. I quickly found out that medical jobs were where the best and brightest people choose to work. It really is an area where you can do so much good for others and feel good about what you are doing. I even decided to do part of my internship overseas in Africa to help out with the situation over there. No matter how you look at it, medical jobs are some of the most highly respected people in the world.

After becoming a registered nurse, I discovered that there were no limits to the happiness that my job could bring me. The people I met and the faces I would run into year after year made this period of time the happiest of my life. Medical jobs are worthwhile and they allow you to be able to be financially stable and comfortable because they are all well-paid positions. Plus, if you like to move around, there are hospitals everywhere so you will never have a hard time finding a job.

The economic slump is causing many people to reassess their job security. I am happy to say that the medical field is one place where there has been few lay-offs, if any. So if you are looking at starting over because you recently lost your job or you are just looking for a job that will make you happier and that you can do for the rest of your life, consider a job in the medical field. You will quickly find out how much satisfaction such an amazing and challenging job can give to your life.

If you’ve felt lost or felt that your life has been without direction, there is no better time to go back to school for one of many medical jobs. They will give you a investment on your future. and you will love what you do every day. If you hate what you do, how will you do it until you retire? Most importantly, are you and your family secure right now, or could a medical job offer greater security to your future. No matter how you look at it, if you are interested at all in one of many medical jobs, you can go back to school and be certified in under two years. Then the rest of your life can be happy and satisfying because you will have a job that you love!
