When the going gets tough, the tough get … creative. With over 11 million people in the country now jobless and the unemployment rate to over 9%, the competition in the labor market is becoming hotter than ever.

Gone are the days waiting for job advertisements to find or visit your local employment agency were inadequate. Plaintiffs in these days are having to be proactive in their campaign, more than ever, they are taking to ensure that stands apart from the competition – or eliminating it altogether.

So what's the answer? A boy or a girl has to wear a clown suit or leave control with a fork to get noticed these days? In short, no. There is a lot easier and a more legal, and is called branding.

Branding is a marketing term that is deliberately and consciously creating an image that "customers can form an emotional attachment. It's what gives them that warm, fuzzy feeling when they think of a particular product or service or company, and when it comes to the election, is "pre-sell" a product of other. BMW in the same way that evokes images of elegant style and remarkable performance, the brand makes his name synonymous with the job you want and the skills and qualities that needs a prospective employer.

Make no mistake, you have a brand image and, if you realize it or not – simply could not be one that you feel comfortable. Step into the shoes of a prospective employer – But do it honestly. What do you think? Do you see a guy who always does a good job and makes it on time, or someone with a 'you can do "attitude that lacks motivation? If the latter, then perhaps now is the time to reinvent itself.

Honesty self-analysis is a key to the success of the personal brand, and you can start over here taking a good look at your strengths and weaknesses. Skills of the Schedule, qualifications and experience. Refine their positive personality traits. Consider the areas where they may have weaknesses, things that you can address and improve. Hold an image on the back of your mind of the person you want a potential employer to see when you walk through the door, and get to that person.

Branding is not the elimination of the fun things, the rarity of his personality. It is about recognizing and capitalizing on their marketable qualities on growth and the qualities to make it even more desirable in the job market. It is about making a personal pledge to a prospective employer that makes you feel calm and secure.

When you have an idea more clearly what you want to project to the outside world, which verbalize. Build your brand statement – a brief and concise statement that summarizes what you are and the best in your unique promise of value to an employer. This is only a working title, but a statement that summarizes your skills, abilities and uniqueness.

Once you have done this, put your brand statement absolutely everywhere – on business cards, website, blog, Facebook account and any else you can imagine. Do your part of the brand of each connection and online interaction you have. Market research and industry that wants to be, identify potential employers and network your way to the job you want. With a strong brand that not only promises, but offers his reputation precedes him and opens the doors to the sanctuary, the "hidden" market.

He created his mark already? What is your promise of value to a potential employer or his murderer brand statement?
