What are summer jobs for kids at the age of 12?

Me and my friend have been trying to find jobs for this summer. We haven’t been able to find much jobs that would work for us.We both love animals and were trying to find jobs that let kids work with animals but weren’t able to find anything in that catagory either. So if someone could give us some ideas then we would most likely appreciate that.

Sorry, but the only job I can think of is babysitting or doing lawn work for neighbors. Maybe you could pet sit for someone who is going away. You could try asking your neighbors. I’m pretty sure you have to be 16 to volunteer at an animal shelter, but it wouldn’t hurt to ask if you can volunteer.
