Jobs Public Health Nursing

Degree in Public Health?
Hello, I was wondering if anyone had any information / advice in getting a MPH. Is there a large amount of jobs out there if I get this degree and if so, what kind of jobs? What can you do with this degree without having a greater degree (PhD or DrPH) or to obtain a degree in the health field? I took a course in public health and I loved it, but I'm debating on whether or not to have an MPH or get a nursing degree. Of the people who work in health care that I've talked to, they said they obtained their MPH, either because they could not enter in medical school first in everything I wanted to improve your resume or want to work for the government later, so getting a MPH would put in a good position to get a job state or federal. Are there other options out of this? Are jobs in public health in great demand, or is one of those fields that have to move to find work instead of being able to find that work virtually anywhere in the country?
Most do not work MPHs in hospitals. They work for governments, nonprofit or university. The exception would be hospital administrators and health educators. Example job I know have MPHs-Run a program to prevent teen-pregnancy health policy analyst working for a pharmaceutical company Nursing is one of the most flexible and demand for jobs there, but there are a number of jobs out there for MPHs not jobs are just very different. You should go to some open houses for these programs, but just so you know, higher MPH programs (Columbia, Hopkins) do not normally carry people directly from undergraduate.
