Where is the best small town in Colorado?

We are searching for the perfect small town in Colorado to settle down and raise our family. We love to be outdoors (hiking, fishing, skiing, etc.) Hubby works at home, so jobs aren’t a factor. We would like someplace with good schools and friendly people. Any ideas???
