Looking for a summer job that pays well.?

I’m looking for a summer job that pays somewhat well. I’m a full time college student in San Diego and I’m 18 years old. I asked my mother the same question and she looked at me and said “in all seriousness porn” haha i’m not sure if i wanna get into that industry yet at least, but i’m so far thinking I’m going to work for the decorators union putting in trade shows that come to San Diego. I’m able to do hard labor, and I consider myself at least somewhat intelligent, if you have any ideas please give me one.

I’m not sure what your take on “pays somewhat well” is, but have you thought about being a pool/beach lifeguard? It pays better than most summer/temporary jobs, and it has many nice benefits. Usually you only work for 30 mins out of each hour and you can get a nice tan. You also can check out the hotties on your down time.
