Jobs Children Can Do
why are people so against same sex couples raising children?
Who are they to judge who can and can’t raise children? Do these people ever consider that a same sex couple may think that some behaviours of those who critisize are not desirable to teach children? I know many ‘traditional’ families who are horrible places for children to be brought up in, I also know of same sex couples who do a wonderful job raising children. Why are certain people so judgemental as to think they can dictate something as personal as a persons sexuality?
people fear the unknown. i’m thinking 99% of people out there that are against it don’t REALLY know what they’re against. I have a very good friend that has raised a wonderful, thoughtful, open, and STRAIGHT daughter. i think people think that the child may be gay if raised by gay parents, not because they were BORN straight or gay. people need to open their eyes to the love that good parents (straight, gay, single, married, black, white, purple) have to offer and then look around at all the kids who are in DESPERATE need of that love. Shame for wanting to deny them of a warm, stable, and loving home. Judging people is NOT a christian value, nor is it our “job” to judge. Leave it to the head honcho upstairs. “Thou shalt not judge”, remember?
How are we preparing children for jobs that do not exist yet? 2 year old.
