Would a 1st class in mechanical engineering from a top UK university get me into Oxford, Cambridge or Havard?

I am currently doing an internship in mechanical engineering with a global company and I realise I am not quite as passionate about engineering as I thought I was. I’m thinking of pursuing a brief career on Wall Street or in The City(London) before I return to Nigeria to work for myself. If I can get a first class degree in engineering would getting into one of these Oxford like schools to get a masters in a finance related field be possible and is it neccessary to have a degree from one of these prestigious universities to get into wall street/the city?

Olotu, the best bet for you will be to contact these institutions directly – ask to speak with an Admissions Officer or Academic Adviser. Getting into one of these prestigious universities is a good idea but does not guarantee that you will end up on Wall Street or City of London! Good luck.
