How do I start a career in the gym?

I'm making a career change, the right to fitness. Fitness has been a passion of the entire life. As a kid, I've skied (and taught skiing), dancing (and taught dance), and ran. As an adult, I'm going to the gym 5 times week, cardio, weight lifting, going to school, swim. And I worked at a time, address a fitness program for young people (unfortunately, the Y does not pay enough). And I have some certifications, and a BA that is completely unrelated to fitness (in economics), so I'm basically starting from scratch. I do not know exactly what type of career in the gym I would go … What are the options? I am looking for any and all advice boot. The classes, certifications, books, DVDs, websites / forums … anything to get my new career began. Also, feel free to email me if you have lots of tips, or if you think you can help or mentor.
