If McCain get the Gas Tax Holiday passed, how will he compensate for the loss of 300,000 infrastructure jobs?
It would put 30 bucks in your pocket, but cost 300,000 Americans their jobs. How does McCain plain to compensate for the loss of American jobs?

moronicvoters-
You must not know too much about this beyond what you hear on TV. The Windfall profit’s tax will effectively raise the pretax cost of gasoline and cost you more money. They tried to do this in the 1980′s.

Good answer.
John McCain does not have a plan to compensate for these jobs. He has not even thought out the plan he has proposed. The “gas holiday tax” is a rouse to sway voters.
McCain’s solution for the lost factory jobs is to train the unemployed in technology jobs to filter them back into to the workforce. What if they do not want to work in technology? I mean these jobs are what these people know and have done for years and in a blink of an eye their lively hood is taken away. It’s barbaric. This tax falls under the same “wool over the eyes” relief that Bush has given with the stimulus checks. It seems as though the American People are “getting a break” but in actuality we are paying for it anyway. The check we were taxed on and now we are taking away jobs. At some point, “they” are going to have to realize that “short term” fixing is not the answer. I agree that we need relief, but it needs to be permanent where everyone can benefit. It should not be a give and take situation.
