Careers In Food Science

career: i am planning to do bachelors in food sciences? what are the career opportunities in U.S?
can someone please guide me if this is really a good degree to get in terms of career or should i look at other options? what type of jobs are usually there for someone who completes bachelors in food sciences/nutrition? how much salary is paid? is there a good growth opportunity? thanks!
This major would be good if you wanted to have a health food store. Hospitals also hire dietitians to manage the diets of patients requiring special diets. I do not know about the salary, but anything in the health care field would be good because of baby boomers getting older.
Talk to a dietitian at a hospital or school for some advice.
