Why would a man want to marry an ambitious career woman?
Unless he wants/needs financial support? It is true that many male doctors of medicine marry female doctors of medicine, male lawyers marry female lawyers etc. But that is more a case of two people having a profession in common, rather than a man wanting a wife who has a demanding career.
Most men marry because they want companionship, a family and usually children, like their parents. A woman with a demanding career does not often provide these things as well as a woman who just has a job. Marrying an ambitious woman career woman usually means that your children end up in childcare, being brought up by strangers.
People like to marry equivalent to their own standards. Although if a man has a demanding career like surgery, etc, then he would likely marry a traditional women. Money isn’t everything and 2 career minded people under one roof can be stressful no matter how well they manage.
If I ever do marry, it will be a traditional woman who does not have a very stressful job.
