I have a question about getting a job?

I want to work with my friend,Bree Williamson(shes from my soap opera,One Life To Live).The studio is in New York City.I’m 18, a senior in high school, I write Scripts and I LOVE to act.How can I work with her?(I mean Bree) I live in AZ.I might be going to New York City for my gradution trip.(Maybe maybe not) Should i just go to the Casting Calls and apply for a OLTL Job(That is if their hiring) or should i just say forget it? I’ve always wanted to act on tv with Bree.How do I act with her? help me! Thanks guys!

You won’t like my answer, but you need to take a more rational approach towards your career in acting, producing, writing, or any other field that comprises the entertainment industry. What happens if Bree (God forbid) were to have some health problem, get fired, or get hit by a bread truck?

Be rational about your job choice. If you want to act, research acting schools and pick the one that seems to be the best fit for you. If you like to write and want a career as a writer, then talk to a career counselor about the kinds of schools/degrees that open the doors most quickly for you. This answer could go on and on and on, depending on what direction you want to take.

Short advice, get your eyes off one actress… think about the career that you want to make a living by doing… and prepare yourself. Anything short of that and you’re putting yourself at risk.
