have been an exchange student last year in america, imitalian. i fell in love with an american boy and we?

are still dating even if we dont see each others since 7 months. in about a week he will come to italy to be with me for 20 days. he is in his first year of college now. then in february ill go visit him and in april too. im in the last year of high school in italy. the next year i want to move to move to america and live with him. my parents are not going to pay my college in america. they would pay it in italy. so i dont know what to do. should i move to america and just live with him, get a job where i wont earn so much and never go to college.. or stay in italy do college for 4 years and hope that after that he will still be in love with me?

You could both wait the 4 years and set the ‘wedding’ right out of college– if you love each other and are young.

Why?

B/C sadly I’ve seen this 100s of times–foreigner moves to USA completely in love for a relationship or marriage, then is dumped or divorced 2 years later b/c it doesn’t work out…she then has no money, no place to go, and moves back to her (or his) home country to live with parents again

don’t expect an IN-PERSON relationship to work out necessarily either
