Age Jobs Guide

how to start second inning of life at an age of 52 yrs with a degree PhD in environmental science.?

I am an environmental impact assessment scientist in an age of 52 yrs lookoing forward to start my second inning as an environmenta scientist and wish to work with ngo affiliated corporate world in pune, nagpur, noida, hyderabad, bangalore etc,I wish to join/register with a international placement agency who can help me in getting a job for remaining yrs. In this age also i wish to have my job satisfaction and wish to get my wrong job framing towards the right one. If anyone wish to properly guide me and cooperate, i would highly be thankful to him.

I am a student myself, but I’ve seen lot of industrialists and research scientists get back to academia and then move on to the job of their choice. Join any mediocre-to-excellent reputed college or university. Maybe as an honorary professor or a visiting professor if you can’t do full-time. You will get many contacts through senior staff in the university especially to NGOs.

Try to publish articles and papers in journals. And more than that keep track of the NGOs which you may like to join. Attend any lectures, workshops or other programmes that they have. Make contacts. I had at least two to three visiting professors from industry who stayed for a couple of years and later left to join other organizations.

Hope this helps.
